The triple unwind stand (bottom right) is an excellent example of Double E’s customization expertise. This stand is a unique design that was engineered for a producer of laminated film. The customer needed a more efficient method for manufacturing a five-layered material. Since the customer already had three individual stands, Double E engineered this stand to replace one of those single unwind stands to give them a total of five unwind sections. This stand consisted of a control panel with three Re EP.25 T-One controllers, safety chucks holding three DG-2000 aluminum bladder shafts and regulated with Re TC load cells and pneumatic brakes.
